Crime comedy set in a village somewhere in Bavaria, centering around a village policeman's attempt to solve a murder case, his chaotic private life and the dysfunctional relationship with his wacky father.

Franz Eberhofer feels comfortable as a cop in the small Bavarian village of Niederkaltenkirchen. His transfer to Munich is inconvenient for him.

But soon a murder case brings him back to his tiny village. Marcus H. Rosenmüller 's first feature movie deals with a boy thinking that he is responsible for his mother's death and his unusual way to fight his feelings of guilt.

Ex-detective Brenner wants to keep himself out of trouble but several murder cases and his ex-girlfriend Klara finally get him involved.

But making decisions is not one his strengths. Former cop Brenner has to return to his home town where he gets involved in a tragic story between his old friends.

There are so many things going on, that this time around there is not as much time to spend with the odd side characters. But there's still some fun we can have with them.

It's funny, it's sometimes a bit mean, but always good hearted. And really well produced Sign In. Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends.
